While trailering, a passing 18 wheeler blew a retread that hit the side of my Monticello leaving swirling scratches and nicks in the hull. They aren't very deep but are unsightly. Tried buffing them out but not too successful. Doral would supply a litre of gelcoat for $25 plus $125 hasmat shipping charge, far more than I need plus too expensive.
Anyone have an idea as to how best smooth things out? I'm not fond of Scratch Coat as it doesn't hold that well.
