Hello everybody.

I have a 1985 Carver 3207 that I am taking possesion of next week. I am looking for a complete checklist of items that need to be addressed to winterize the vessel to prevent any damage. I live in Newport RI so the winters here can get SEVERE.....I'm trying to get as complete a list as poss so I won't damage my new baby!

Of course; remove all water from engines, sink traps, heads, etc. Add appropriate anti freeze where water can't be removed.

Don't forget canned goods, bottled water. Anything that could freeze and burst.

Remove all lead acid batteries. Store in warm dry ventilated place. On trickle charger (Battery Tenders work great.) if you have one. If not, get one.

Cover with "FEMA" tarp and bungees to keep snow off, out.

Or, or, move to Florida and forgo all of the above and enjoy your new toy all year. I did!
