i am looking at a 46' built in 87, is there anything I should know about this boat.

My plan is to live on the boat and get some short trips 3 to 7 day.  I have no idea on what to expect about the boat Help

You should post this on the Constellation forum.  We have a couple of 460 folks over there.

The 460 is a very heavily built vessel.  The engine package should be DD 671's. These are very good and reliable engines.  Of course, the engine hours can determine quite a bit and you did not post those.  The generator systems are usually pretty stout as well.  I had a contract on a 460 prior to buying my 500.

I assume you had it surveyed by a competent surveyor.  Any structural issues would have been discovered by his survey,  such as; wet decks, blistered bottom, delamination, etc.

Good luck!
