My boat generally steers hard. Used to be easier, but mechanic can't find anything wrong. Boat is well maintained, covered and hangs on my covered boat dock. I live in FL and it only goes on fresh water. 

It doesn't jerk or anything, just I have to tug a lot harder than I used to.

Besides me getting older,    anybody got an ideas?
