Uline icemaker on Chris Craft 372 Catalina quit working.  Found a Sears icemaker assembly that is the exact size as the original.  Can it be installed on the Uline?

Hi jm14246,

Assuming you're replacing the whole unit-yes you can. You will need to identify the old unit to see of it runs on 12VDC and 110AC power or just on 110ac power. I'm assuming it runs only on 110ac- Find the MFG'r label, it will say so. See how the old unit is plumbed in- usually a water source, drain and a power coonection- make sure the circuit breaker is off 1st. May take a bit of work, doesn't sound too complicated. Take you time: "measure twice, cut once" rule applies, even if it's not carpentry, if you get my drift.

all the best- done right, luck has nothing to do with it.
