thinkins of buying this boat. had the survey and sea trial which is basically fine except the mech recommends several things to be fixed, about $600 that we would pay since according to salesman boat is "as is" and we got it low priced. we are somewhat OK with that, but are concerned because when they pulled it out the skeg was broken on the outdrive and it's also a bit bent. the owner must have really hit something hard. the mechanic doesn't see the shaft being bent, but we are concerned about any long term problems and possibly want to buy an extended warranty. so, has anyone had any experiences good/bad with this outdrive (volvo DP SM 1.95 ratio) and engine (volvo 5.7 GIE 280hp) and have any ideas where to buy an extended warranty? many thanks for your time!
