Anyone know where I can get an end cap for my Kenyon boom on a 35' Sloop??

Or repairing the screw hole that holds the cap into the boom?

I bunged up the screw trying to get it out, then tried to drill it out but the drill bit broke off in the screw shaft itself now thinking of grinding the screw head off to get the end cap off. ???
