I have a manual for a 24' Marathon Weekender with both GM/Ford/Volvo info. I have owned the vessel for 12+ years and am very happy with it. I use it in Biscayne Bay, Fl. It is a 1989 with many hours, however I am always looking for information on it. It is an AQ 231 B with a 280B out drive. I recently pulled the engine and replaced timing chain, output shaft bearing and all ignition parts. Is there any one else out there with a similar boat? Looking for someone to replace custom canvas cover. Skidlyb@hotmail.com

Skidlyb:

I answered you on the other.. but you didn't leave you email.

Here you show u'r email... Will send you on email the 1989 Models: IBOATS and Nada Guides. (I have most yrs with all of the models) . Specs aren't great but you can give the stuff a persual.

Note: 1989 was a transition yr from the Marathon Boat Mfg Inc. (NBO-HIN)to the new company in latter 1989  as Marathon Cruisers.(UAJ-HIN).

I'll also sent you our Marathon Boat Owners Group Informational news letter with the History and background of both Marathon Boats Inc and Marathon Cruisers.

On the big Marathon Owners Group forum.. their is piles of info... Go back and check out pgs 52.. our boats and member info.. & on pg 64, an original Marathon Model Brochure from 1986. And you now have the encyclopedia edition of the news letter.

Welcome aboard Skidlyb

Norm
