Hello Cat owners. I own a 82 , 281. I have owned her for 5 years. The previous owner removed the head and installed a porta-potty. I want to replace it to original head. Does anyone know where the tank was mounted?

hi Scavenger,

I have a 280 (single motor) so my set up would be different since my holding tank is on the starboard side of the engine compartment.  Since your's is a 281 (twin engine) one of the other guys who has a 281 would have to recommend.  Another option would be to check out similar boats for sale if any in your area to check out their set up.

Please consider posting to the Catalina forum, you should get more responses from other owners.
