Need some help with this repair. Recently pulled my boat out of the water to be layed up for the winter. After a couple of days I noticed fuel coming out of the drain plug. After invstigated the source of the leak it appeared to be coming from the bottom or side of the fuel tank which is not visible. My marina has removed the fuel and is contimplating how to change the tank.

Doral tech services initially told me the tank can be changed through the aft cabin but after asking some questions, they called me back and said the engines must be pulled and the tank removed from the engine compartment! I don't have alot of confidence in what I'm hearing.

Anyone out there have any experience with similar problems or experiences?
