I am in the process of buying a 1974? 28' Uniflite Sportfisher and wanted to confirm the year of the boat as I understand some of the boats built after 1975? had blistering problems.

I have the HIN# and assumed the following:  HIN# UNF03918074/28S189

The numbers 8074 before the / would be the manufacture date August 1974?

28S189 would be 28' Sportfisher #189 produced that year?
