Hi folks, I just found this forum while looking for more information on our boat. It's a 1971 Uniflite 27. That's all that is on the title. We have had the boat for right at a year now. It needed a lot of work which we will be chronicling on our online journal. Can ya'll take a look and see if anyone has info on this particular model?

I'm not familier with that model. Have you posted on Unifliteworld? I'm surpised nobody has chimed in concerning yours.

We had one person give a possible model and others disagreed. So here we are. Bob at Sea Cure said he will identify it when we pull it from the water this fall for a refit. I'm just a bit anxious to get an exact model considering we have an online journal now. I do appreciate you taking a look though. Great looking boat you have!!!!

The journal a pretty neat idea. I hear good things about the guys at Seacure but I don't have any personal experience with them. Thanks for the complement, like any old boat, it is a labor of love. The picture was taken by a frined as we were pulling out of our slip, it was just a random thing but ended up being a great shot. This particualr site is a little slow but good people. There are other boatUS message boards that get a lot of traffic as well as the unifliteworld site. They are a wealth of info. I have good luck buying Chrylser mairne parts on line and one in particular has great shipping times. I saw a picture of a model like yours on the unifliteworld web site. It's in the area with other pics. Since I saw yours in there I assume you already saw the other one. Good luck with your boat and look forward to seeing your progress.

Thanks!!! When you go on our site sometime go into the forums and say hi. Would love to see more of your boat and hear about it. The wife and I will be looking for a pre-blister year boat just like yours in a few years for our main cruising boat. The 27 will remain our local run about boat. What chrysler engines does your have?

I have twin 440's. One them I've rebuilt. I'll check out the forums.
