After spending an afternoon
boating I stopped the boat to anchor & relax at a sand bar (3-4 feet
deep). After about 45minutes it was time to leave. The motor started right up
but I quickly realized that the steering wheel was locked up and the throttle
lever is not functional. I had to be towed to shore.
I have the boat on a hoist at my
cottage and will have my first opportunity to attempt a repair this weekend.
