However, I have always had a passion for the late 70's Gen I Eggs. I am currently looking to trade up to a 33 footer from my 29 foot Thompson. I would like to stay from 1977 and newer as they have the full fiberglass topside rather than wood. I am in no rush and in fact may end up waiting 1, 2 or even 5 or 6 years until the right Egg comes along. Anyone have any suggestions what to look for or look out for? However, it looks like I may not get my Egg! I am looking at a '72 38'. She's had a lot of deck and bridge repair done from rotted wood. Apparently this is a big deal with this vintage Eggs.
