We are looking at a 37' wooden Chris Craft Constellation. It has been housed in a boat house and is pristine, it probably looks better than the day it was made! It is all original except the power. We will have it docked outside near Toledo Ohio and will store it indoors. What sort of yearly maintenance can I expect to keep it looking top shelf?

Alot of elbow grease, even when you think you're done! Even when you set out with the best intentions sometimes we lose interest or find ourselves to busy, that would be the time check things out. I personally am on boat #3 and by yourself it's work or cash or a lot of cash to repair your HELP.. The first thing I would do, would find the propper people for each phase of repair , find out if repairs can be made there [port] or must transportation must be arraigned to get your pride and joy to qualified respected people. Find and meet these fine people now and let them see what it works like now. I hate being the gloomy gus but this is a fact, prepair for the worst that can happen so that when the wind is at your back and everything goes correctly you'll know deep down that it's all because you were prepaired and it would not have mattered if something attempted to stop your enjoyment you could been  underway faster than you can get tow boat.
