How many of us are for sale? How are the sales going? Price?
Must sell, otherwise Lexi can't retire...

Ron,

Your broker can pull all sales for the Connies and tell you asking vs. selling price for the last couple of years.  I think Yachtworld.com has most of the boats for sale, so you can look at the asking prices.  Did you take pictures of the boat when you pulled last month?  Have a bottom inspection done to offer info for your sales ad?

Washer/Dryer

We found out the hard way, one little glitch in installing the new units.  The new units sit slightly more forward than the old and have a little ridge that is molded into the bottom, hence we cannot open the storage step that leads down to the forward stateroom.  We are going to have to trim the step back slightly on the side or see if we can re position the units back a half inch.  Of course I needed something in that step this weekend which is how we found this out! lol!

You have storage under that step?!  I got cheated on my Chris!  Can the government do something about this?

Anyway.........took out the boat yesterday and turned the wheel over to a friend and went to the engine room to take some IR readings.

I'll only quote the rpm I ran up to:  @ 1700 rpm I measured a temperature of 125 degrees on the shower head flange and 89 degrees approximately 4" down stream on a part of the stainless sleeve just prior to the rubber elbow.

These readings would, of course, change with an increase in the water temperature as the summer wears on.  Other variables would seem to apply as well, but I feel comfortable with the current readings.  I believe the 185 degree alarms I am installing will help me sleep better.

This is, as promised,  for informational puposes only.
