Hello,

I recently purchased a boat which appears to be a 1972 Thunderbird Shawnee 154 with a 1983 Force 85 hp outboard. Everything is pretty much running OK, although there are issues with the rig.

I am primarily a scuba diver, and wonder what the safe weight capacity might be with this boat? ANY info very much appreciated.

Rick,

Just joined this forum and sorry for the late reply lol!  I had purchased the 1973 Thunderbird Shawnee and we could possibly trade info and pics.  I am currently restoring her although she does float and run.  Had her out the entire summer of 09 and now I am working on her in my driveway.  If you indeed receive this message, please contact me.

Regards,

Joe C.
