Hey, gang, the fun never stops. Replaced the impeller in the sherwood g30-2b raw water pump. The old impeller had taken a "set", meaning the impeller vanes stayed in a bent position. However after re-installing the pump, I noticed a small amount of water leaking around the shaft. Bought a seal kit. Replaced seals, but the bearings didn't feel good. Ran it over the weekend, no problem. Cost of new pump, $300.00 my cost. retail about $400. Ordered major rebuild kit from jerry's marine. My cost about $100 with sales tax and all. About an hour or so to rebuild the thing. And I'll have a spare impeller from the first kit. Found a pulley from a guy who sells used parts at chris craft parts.com. $95 for a used pulley, but couldn't find one any where else. Will let you know how it goes. Capt. Heavy

Hey, Blue. Come on down! The weather is almost perfect, if you don't mind the hurricanes. Mystic Diver rode out 3 of them in the water. Ocean water temps in summer are mid to upper 80's. I refuse to even visit N.J. in the winter. Do you ever visit Baltimore Inner Harbor? We used to visit once or twice a year. Fell in love with a little mexican Restaurant in the canton area called Nacho Mama's, not too far from Lighthouse Point Marina. Just a little hole in the wall, but great food and margaritas. Aways crowded. Miss blue crabs, too. Stuart is a great place to live and boat. Right at the crossroads of the St. Lucie river, Indian river, ICW and the ocean. Some thing for everyone. Even the cross florida canal runs thru stuart. About 70 miles from the Bahamas. But they charge a $300. fee just to enter their waters. Think I'll stay here. Heavy
