We have recently sold our 04 Formula 27PC, after living on the boat every weekend this summer including three 10 day vacations is Block Island we decided we needed a bigger and more comfortable boat. We like the styling of the 06 and newer Meridian 391s but wonder how it compares to the other sedan bridges like Carver, Silvertons and Sea Rays. How well do these boats handle the rough chop common in LI sound which our trips back from BI seem to always have. And how solidly built are these boats compared to the way a Formula is built. Any insight would really appreciated.
