so,... i picked up some more stuff.

found that there was a big sell-off of the leftover stuff when baja sold to fountain.

ended up with a couple really nice helm/dash switch clusters. including a drive trim/tilt switch cluster with trim tab switches too. 6 switches 3 for the drives/3 for the tabs. if you're wondering.....the third switch is "both" drives/tabs. the first panel has 14 switches all in a straight line for all the normal stuff that needs to be controlled from the helm.

really nice looking quality stuff. soooo, guess what?......i started a new project!(go figure) rebuilding the dash. all new switches and gauges. all the old stuff was green and crusty and original 1990 parts.

hey-i dont know about your-guys thompsons......but my electrical looked mostly like a rats nest everywhere(OEM) behind the dash, engine room, etc...

everything that had been hacked into has now been replaced with the proper stuff. all neatened-up and clamped down.

got the dash all torn apart before leaving this time---i'll try to get some pics of the new project posted.

the job is going to require cutting the dash and raising it several inches and glassing it back in. for an all new resize/design/modernization.

the saga continues.....
