I am trying to obtain info on a thunderbird seminole that I am restoring.  The serial number is SE96440.  Can anyone interpret this for me  to determine the  model year?  I also need any info on this boat that might be available.

Hi there

I have one of the surviving first models that Thunderbird made (14' Flamingo-1956), and was able to contact Richard C. Cole's (designer) son in Florida.  He was a wealth of info for me.  Send me a note to michael@waveconstruction.com and I'll put you in touch with him.
