Pete, Boatman66 (Capt. Wayne) and all,

I received an e-mail message indicating a post to the Boat US forum from Boatman66 but it was not in our "usual" site but under the topic "Dear Owner Letter".  I wonder if we are missing some input and members by their posts going elsewhere. I guess I should be checking the other topic headings. Am I missing something in how I am set up?

Boatman66, if you are reading this, to comment on the replacement of your hot water tank. On my 500 I moved the water tank from the starbaord side to the middle aisle in that same generator room area. It is lower in the boat and centered. It clears that starboard area up nicely and you can put a 30 gallon tank there if you want (I installed a Sears 20 gallon unit for about $130 then). Your 46 Chris may be layed out differently. I have seen pictures of some 500 connies that seem to have some sort of divider, shelve or whatever in the way. I have an open asile from the generator area through to the back of the engine area. It is interesting you mentioned you now have your boat at Marco Yacht Club. I just returned (to New Jersey) from Marco Island, Florida a few hours ago. We flew down and were there for about 10 days. Passed by the MYC on the way to the airport. Was planning on walking around that marina area a few days earlier but never got around to it... might have come close to hooking up. Did not use a computer while there. If you don't reply to this I will try again on the "Dear Owner Letter" topic head.
