Greetings-

Have a newly acquired 1999 240 Sundeck with the optional pump-out head. I haven't been able to locate any manuals for this beast, and don't want it to get away from me. (Talking about the head alone--- how to flush, size of holding tank, etc). Any help is welcome.

Go to Searay.com and click on archives, etc. Your holding tank size should be there. As far as operating manuals go, you'll have to go to the manufacturers website to download. This is no big deal, but don't forget to add head chemical on a frequent basis!

I lose all my manuals. Almost every manufacturer has them on line. I do happen to have a manual for the Jabsco Compact Head, if thats the one you need. Havent had it long enough to lose it yet.

Moose-

I have the Specs manual for my 240 SD. The Pump-out Head is an option which I assume is why its particular specs aren't included.

I assume the manufacturer is Jabsco, but will have to crawl around the unit to confirm. Thanks for your response.

Rock Hall-

Where did you get the Jabsco manual? All I can find on the internet are parts suppliers. Is Jabsco now part of a larger company?

I recently bought a new head. The one I have is the one West Marine sells. They call it the compact head. I can get it this weekend and scan the parts you need and email to you if it is the right one.

Rock Hall-

Thanks for your efforts. I have a Jabsco Compact Head parts list,,, was looking for an operator manual, and I think I found one. Apparantly Jabsco is now a division of ITT, so I was able to go to that web site.

Moose and Rock Hall-

I have reviewed the portable head in my 240SD and fine it is from Sanipotti. I have downloaded their manuals am now are all set. Thanks for being patient with a newbie.
