Does anyone out there know if a nissan 2.5 outboard motor will work for trolling on a 19 foot sea ray. Thought I had better ask before I buy it. Thank you to all for the wonderful advice to the newbie, Tony.

I just bought a 3.5hp 4-stroke mercury to push my 14" aluminum boat. It just barely does the job. This boat probably weighs about 200 lbs.  So my guess would be you need at least 10 hp
