We are the proud new owners of a Thunderbird 233 with a Buick
300ci V8 and Electric Shift OMC. It's history is quite unique and
certain to be of interest to some. The original owner was Walter
Morgan (google the name), the famous investigator in the Black
Dahlia murder cases
from the 40's and 50's in Los Angeles. In 2003, he revealed some
long-
awaited truths about the case in a CBS 48 Hours interview. Sadly, he
passed away
last year at the age of 92. His legacy lives on in his boat! To start,
he had
logged only 152 total hrs since he purchased it new in 1967!

Although the boat has seen relatively little use, it has been sitting
out in the elements for several years and also the victim of pilferage.
Our first major stumbling block is trying to find a port side exhaust
manifold that someone removed. Other than that and some minor
wood, wire, cable, and carpet rot, it's in pretty good shape. It has all
the original
gauges and equipment which we'll probably keep for originality.

This boat is looking for a new owner! Motor and outdrive removed.
Steering, controls,
gauges, and everything else remains. Hull is in EXCELLENT condition.
Not so much the
interior/stringers, but not too bad. $200. You transport. Let us
know. Email for pics.
