Hi there I hope someone can answer this question, but when did they discontinue the Searay 200 Select, and was the boat much different at end of production from its inception?

Reason I'm asking am about to buy a new boat, trading in my FW Vista 265 on one but don't have confidence in the salespersons information. The boat they are selling me is new. but I think they have had it in stock a long time.

In the SeaRay website the archives show 200 Select in 2006, have not checked the specs against the 210 Select to see if it might be the same. Just went back and checked, 2006 200 is 21 feet long with 8'5" beam, 2007 210 is 21 feet long with a 8'6" beam. It appears that the 200 Select was built in 2004,2005,2006 then changed to 210.

You can determine the year of manufacture by looking at the hull identification number which is molded into the gelcoat in the upper right corner of the transom.

The last two digit indicate year of manufacture "06" = 2006.
