I know it alsmost against the law to have anything but a Yamaha on a Pursuit.....but I just repowered my 1996 2470 walk with a Suzuki 300 4S. It is almost like a completely different boat....in a good way.........The off motor was a 2001 250 OX66.........I will not dog talk that motor as its reliability was very good......only downside was fuel and oil burn..........the fly by wire controls are excellent.....excelent torque.....mid range and top speed...........If anyone is thinking about a repower on a 24........give the Suzuki 300 serious consideration.......
