Topic: hpdi cutting off while slow trolling

Author Message Prev Topic | Next Topic  yknot fishing "Seaman Recruit" Joined: September 30 2007 Posts: 12 Posted: October 24 2007 at 20:21 | IP Logged my 02  200hp hpdi  cut off and would not start while slow trolling at 600 rps.  I ran the other one for about 3 hrs, and tried to start it several time only to have it just start up after about 3hrs and run like it was flooded with fuel until I ran it up to 3500 rpm.  I assume the plugs loaded up with carbon or something.  after that it seemed to run fine.  I ran it WOT for about 1min on the way home and is still running well.    Has anyone had that happen? __________________ 1996 2870 twin yamaha 200 hpdi Y-Knot Wilmington NC Back to Top
