Hi All,

First time post, and here's the question..... currently own a '04 1703, it has a Garmin 172 GPS/Fishfinder. Not really excited about it, but was looking for an upgrade. Here's my dilemma, which one?? Every mfgr I look at says "Mine is better than theirs" and so on.

I'm currently looking at Raymarine (A65, C70/80), Humminbird (Side Imaging unit), Furano, etc. I fish saltwater usually, sometimes fresh when I don't want to travel 2 hours. My son says Raymarine and the A65 package looks pretty enticing. Anyone out there have anything good to say about any of these?
