I think this boat is a great deal.  04 with 225, and 8HP kicker with 48 hours on the boat.  66 K.  No trailer.  Right now I have a 238 coastal with twin 150,s. Looking for a boat that is good for trolling and also overnigting with the other.

I have a 2470 Center Console.  I currently have the 250OX66 that tops out at 43-44mph and cruises 4000 at 30mph.  However, I have heard, consistently, that the F225 does not have enough power.  The  four stroke has less torque and is slow to plane and may have trouble holding RPM's in heavy seas.  The 2470 Walk is heavier so the problem will be even worse.  Also, $66k w/o a trailer seems a little high.  I paid $39k for my 5-year old boat last year. Boats are not moving right now and you could probably do better.

Balt. Pursuit -   If you are only getting 5100 out of your OX66 have you considered a different prop?  That motor should be getting 5400-5600 RPM's.  Personally, I would prefer the high side of that as it's less strain on the motor thoughout the power band.
