Exactly, melted ice. The first trip was a problem because the ice melted.
I don't think there is a fix, unless you want to remove the door and glass in the opening. I went to home depot and looked for the appropriately sized gasket material. They have some that is UV stabilized.
I also picked up some white narrow gasket material and put it on the top of the ridge of the fish box drain. This is the ridge that makes contact with the lid's gasket. Them I adjusted the fish box latch to make sure it closes tight. I don't get any water (well at east not much) in the fish box any more.
Pursuit should consider omitting the transom door. f they insist on a door, build it like the one on my old Grady. That was a door.
