Wow--what a difference, looks great. I am thinking of doing a full body job on mine and repainting, not sure though. For right now I amredoing the seating on deck.
keep posting those pictures of the renovation and keep up the good work
UPDATE:

I am/was in Okinawa when all everything happened here in
Japan. Fortunately we are more than 1000 miles south of
everything and the tsunami that came here was not really noticeable. Friends of mine have lost loved ones, so my heart
goes out to all the people affected.
Good news is I have made lots more progress on the boat, as
I have not been traveling as much. I just got my pictures
organized, so I hope to get everyone caught up soon.
Thank you for your thoughts, much appreciated!

Digital scale inside the crane, the boat weighs about 3.5 tons without the alpha outdrives on.

Sorry for being MIA, the boat is pretty much done at this point, let me get caught up with the pics.
So I took the old dash board out, plus half of the gauges didn't work anyway.

There is Jonny the Mercruiser mechanic from Miami, if you need a good guy to order parts from him let me know, he is one of the best. He is the only one that took me seriously when I said I needed to buy two new engines.
