Hello everyone,

I have a 2006 220 select with the 350 Mag.  This was my first year with it, and first year in boating.  We had a great time on the boat.  Of course like always I would like more horsepower out of the boat.  It is very quick, but would like some higher top end speed.  My motor is fuel injected, does anyone know of what I can do to it.  Does anyone make a chip for the computer to increase the HP?  If so please let me know, thanks.

Gary

The quick answer is yes.  Google it and you will find several.

That said, what is your WOT RPM?  If it is out of the engine manufacturers recommended range, all you may need is a different prop.

If the engine is in warranty, read the fine print.  Somewhere in there it says any modifications void the warranty.

SeaRay Jim put a 525EFI in his 240 Sundeck. I got a video of his hi speed run somewhere in my lap top.  You might want to visit csr (club sea ray) and talk with him, I am sure he could give you some pointers.

In reguards to what David said, once you modifiy you enter a whole new world. Engine is no longer warrantied and you might need to look into your insurance policy as well.

Good luck with it.
