My 2000 SE Doral has just had both engines replaced with only 165 hours clocked. My mechanic (Merc Cruiser Certified) had called Merc Cruiser to get the exhaust pitch "spec" for my 7.4's. The original Doral design/pitch was no where near the Merc Cruiser requirement and this is the reason that caused (salt) water intrusion into my engines. When contacting Doral to have them address this issue, they e-mailed the "new" exhaust design which they suggested be used. Has anyone out there had this problem? My other concern is that I really enjoyed our 360 and was considering moving up with Doral, but the response to my situation by Doral, and their lack of consideration to this major problem has me thinking about other boat mfgs. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
