While scouting around for interesting old boats in south Jersey last week, I found a 1966 Thunderbird Iroquois 23' or 24' sitting in a front yard.  It is for sale for what seems to be next to nothing which is typical in New Jersey - everyone wants new boats down there.  The boat is in excellent condition with professionally re-done floors and transom, running 6 cyl. Chevrolet, older Bravo drive and galvanized Venture trailer.  I live in Maine and do not need another boat but I have never seen one of these in the "flesh."  If I buy it I'll have to store it before I can get back down there to bring it home.  Does anyone know if these boats have any real value?  I can probably post a picture if anyone is interested.

Hi All-

I just bought a 66 Iroquois from a guy outside of Everett Wa.  The boat seems to be in pretty good condition, a little work to be done on some of the wood work but the original engine and outdrive work flawlessly.

I'm pretty stoked about finding this boat and at the price I got it for it was a STEAL.  Anyone else got an Iroquois in Washington state?

I'd like to compare notes on where to get covers etc.. made.  I need new Bimini, storage cover and seats (original seats but in bad shape)

I named her the "Rogue Tiger" after a fighter squadron I was a member of.  Look forward to any comments or info

I tried posting some pics but the files are too large.  I'll have to compress them and post later..
