I   currently own a 2000 , ciera 2655 sunbridge. I would like to replace the current (stock) helm seat.  I would like to install a seat with a flip-up bolster.  Any ideas or help in finding one - new, used, salvage  would be greatly appreciated.

I looked into changing the seat on my 2004 265, and decided on a couple of cooler cushions instead because of not only the price but also the retrofitting to the structure below the seat.

Good Morning:

I had difficulty with the location of the helm seat in my 2858 because it was too low and difficult to get in and out of. I created a simple modification that uses the present base and holes but it moves the new seat back and allows to have a captains chair that is higher and provides better visability. If you will send me your email I'll send you a picture so that you will get a better understanding of what I'm talking about.
