Hey I haven't seen anything on this forum in so long, I had to sign on just to see if it was still functioning. I guess (hope) you are all out enjoying your Uniflites. I am here in the San Joaquin Delta in CA -- working on my 42'. I had to miss some club cruises because I had NO heads working. I have quickly replace the forward toilet so I can cruise. The one in the aft is part of a renovation projuct involving a sole change etc. I'm putting in a new Raritan Atlantes Freedom.
I am extremely jealous of those in the Northwest who are going to attend the rendezvous in Sidney, BC. I intend to take Adventure up that way in a few years, but unless I go by ferry I won't be there this year.
David

Hi David,
I was also wondering about the absence of activity on the forum. I actually registered about a month ago, but did not see much activity, so have not posted. But am glad to meet you; we are Gary & Barbara Carpenter.
We have a 1974 36' Sport sedan Uni (Faith) which we picked up in Anacortes, Wa in March of 2004. We LOVE it. We live in Hope, ID, on Lake Pend Oreille. Which is in the North Panhandle of Idaho. So, we promptly moved the boat to the lake, 290 miles East as the crow flies.
There are two other Uniflites at this end of the lake; a 32' sport sedan used by a local charter, and a '75 36' DCMY. Trying to get them to the forum too.
Gotta close for now, we'll chat more later. . .

Hello Gary & Barbara,
I know you only picked up Faith there, but Anacortes, WA is one of my favorite places. I have never been to Hope, but I do head up that way on my way to visit friends in Whitefish, MT. I'll have to check out Lake Pend Oreille sometime.
If I ever break out of here, I have considered spending some time exploring the Columbia River -- all the way to Idaho. But I see that would still be a very long way from Hope.
Well, like you said, we'll chat more later. . .

Hi all, and welcome Gary & Barbara!
I've been scrambling to get the "50 little" projects done on GIZMO before we leave in about 3 weeks. It's funny how when you complete one little task, 3 more crop up!
What's this about a Uniflite Rendezvous? I didn't know/think there would be one this year.
Kathy and I are altering our plans this year. Normally, we make a beeline for Canada. But, we figured out that neither of us have been boating in South Puget Sound foralmost 30 years, so that is where we are heading this year. We may just poke our bow into Canada just to make sure that our brand new NEXUS cards for customs work.

Hello Dave & Kathy,
I posted this earlier, but I used white text and it didn't show up on the default "skin" most forum members probably use. So, here it is again.

Bummer. There has not been a rendezvous in a number of years, so we hadn't planned on one. Unfortunately, will not be able to attend this one.
I have not logged on to the Uniflite World in months and months.

Dave:
There has been some activity on the UnifliteWorld site, but not like in the "old" days. If you check it out once a week, you'll do fine.
Love to head to a rendezvous, but the fees for the Panama Canal passage would be a killer.

Gene,
You are probably right - I should check Uniflite World now and again. I've pretty much stayed away from it since late last year. I'll take your advice and check it every week or so.
I forgot. You would have quite an adventure getting to British Columbia!

Hi folks,
I'm thinking of moving up! Does anyone know of a 42DCMY or 48 Yachtfisher in very good condition available in California, Oregon, or Washington. Favor diesel, take gas. I'm watching the brokerages, but I wondered it anyone knows of anyone contemplating a sale. Thanks, Larry Boyd

Hi Guys,
Just a note from Los Angeles CA. I'm new to the world of Uniflite
owners. My 32 ft Sport is looking better and better. Wife
and I have been fixin her up all summer and looking forward to years of
visiting all the ports and Islands hear in Southern California.
My wife, Trish, would love to come up to Washington and Idaho but the
boat will not make that trip yet. he he he. She did some nice
boating there years ago.
We have visited the Coer d Alene and Sandpoint area's too.
My question is are there other members of this forum in the Los Angeles area?
Any Uniflite boat gatherings in So.Cal.?
