I am back into boating with a 1989 Catalina 372. I am replacing carpet and cleaning it up. I purchased the boat in Catawba Island on Lake Erie and brought it to Whiskey Island Marina in Cleveland, Ohio in May. Boat runs great though it only has 2 X270 HP. At 3100 RPM it cruises about 14 knots. Fiberglass is in great shape. I will eventually upgrade electronics. The interior space is excellent. It has newer AC and I just put in a new water heater. Interior oak is in good shape except for a water spot under Port / aft window. I just had windows tinted and it really helps with keeping it cool. The two heads and showers are great to have. I look forward to many years of maintaining this nice older boat.
