Newbie here, never owned a boat, but my family did.

I'm interested in these two boats: 2002 200sse 5.0 liter and a 2002 232 sunesta.

Both are in excellent shape and come with lots of extras. 200sse is $14,500 and the 232 is $16,000. Most of the time it will just be my wife & 2 kids doing the boating. I'm sure we'll have another 4 people join us once in a while but not often. We have a house on a large lake (40 miles) with a boat house. No trailering will be done.  The 232 just seems like so much boat for the 4 of us, yet since the cost is approx the same, you get a lot more boat in the 232.

These two boats are two different animals, so I'm looking for opinions on both the boats and possible reasons to buy or not buy either boat.

Thanks, any info is appreciated.

Go for the larger boat.  Your kids will only get bigger and will want to bring friends along.  Good luck with your search and happy boating.

We decided on the large boat.

Thanks for the reply
