I am looking for a SWITCH ASSEMBLY, CUT-OUT for a mercruser on a 1983 bayliner contessa with twin 470 meccruser the Original Part Number is 39670A28.

The switch interupts the engines in order to shift gears.

I have not been able to find the parts. I need 1 but would like to find 2 as the boat is a twin engine. all of the web sites and parts house's I have been to all tell me the part is no longer avail.

If I cant find the correct switch does any one have an Idea as to what to replace the switch with? It is vary difficult to shift out of rev or fwd and I dont want to damage the shift cable by useing the boat with the cut out switch not working.

I have tryed adjuting the switch to no avail.

Thanks

Quick Carl
