am looking at a 1986 cruisers Inc Holiday 260 and have a engine question...does anyone know of any probs. with the 170 hp motors.  This boat has 2, seems to run good.  Someone told us that the block was aluminum and doesn't handle the heat well and it causes problems.  I can't find any information on the subject and would appreciate and help I can get.

Thanks!

Hi Yes its true, if they overheat they can warp out the aluminum heads, things is not to over heat any engine. But these for sure do not like to run hot.
