Our 2005 Doral Monticello was laid up for 18 months due to my wife's illness. We're back on the water but I noticed that the spokes of the steering wheel have what appear to be water spots that won't come out with the application of boat polish. Rather unsightly! I've tried several - 3M, Mequiar's - without success. The Marina here says try Flitz (they don't carry it); Doral Dealer says no, try Never Dull or Bon Ami. Anyone out there have suggestion?  Don't want to use any abrasive. Are the spokes stainless or chrome?
