I inherited a 2002 Carver 350 Mariner last year.  I’m still trying to figure out the best cruising speed for the best gas mileage.   I seem to be getting just under a mile per gallon but really have not been able to do a good test at various speeds.  I can run at about 18 mph at 3300 rpm, 20 mph at 3600 rpm, and 24 at 4200.  Does this gas mileage sound about right and has anyone done some good tests to see the difference at various rpm?
