I have a 1998 2950 and the four port hole windows leak.  I have replaced the gaskets.  Has anyone else had this problem?

I have the same boat and have had water in the cabin, but I haven't been able to track it down.  Most of the water comes on the ceiling of the aft cabin but I cant find where it is coming in.

I also had that happen, but only once.  I think that the head port hole leaked , filled the depressed tray underneath it and then water went into the aft cabin at the starboard side.

However my port holes leak every time it rains.  I have towels under all of them to try to keep the fabric around the cabin from getting wet.

On a diffenrent note; what motors do you have?  I have the I/O s and only have a WOT rpm of 3900.  I am told that this is 1000 off, however I have the original prop pitch on the boat.  I am cruising at 22 knots with a top speed of abot 34knots.  At cruising speed I am getting 1.33/miles/gallon.  Does this seem right?

I really can't say I have noticed the port holes leaking unless it is getting behind the liner and running back to the aft cabin.  Did you chaulk around the outsides of the windows?
Motor-wise I have 225 Johnsons (original) .  I cruise at 30 and top out at 45. mpg is 1.  I want to repower to 4 strokes or etecs, but the motors smoke alot and are load but run strong so until they pop I am going to run them.

The  leaking thta I have expirienced is in the port hole itself at the window /gasket intersection.

Thnks for the information on the fueul burn and cruising speed.

All said and done I am satisfied with the boat.  This is my third year with it and it suits my needs.

I have had the same problem bought 1999 2610 a year ago windows leaked sitting on the trailer. After getting out the hose I figured it out very quickly. Proline cut the port hole bigger than the windows then they caulk them in. The solution is very simple completely remore the windows ( just remove screws inside and out cut caulk) clean old caulk off and reinstall adding Alot of good caulk.
