Hi Ron and Lexi - Wow! Living aboard on South River in the winter must be fun.
1.) I'll try to help with the Emergency Crossover. As it was explained to me at Hoffmasters in Occoquan, VA. When in EC mode, you are drawing from the tank with the most fuel (depending upon whether you're on aft or forward tanks). I'm sure some else will have a better explanation.
2.) There should be valves next to the EC valve which allow you to run on port or aft tanks.
3.) To the best of my knowledge, the genset pulls from the port side. And I believe it pulls from the forward tank only. Does anyone else know otherwise??
I hope this helps.
