Having no luck getting a spark plug socket on the plugs in a Westerbeke 4.5KW generator.  Tried with no succes using a 13/16" socket with a universal joint as suggested by the manufacturer and cannot get the socket on the plug...

Anyone have any experience with this problem??? 

The generator is mounted in my 2001 Sea Ray 310
