I am thinking of pulling the trigger on a new 256 SSX in January 08.

For me, the throttle handle is a little short; especially when I stand.
Also the bow area seems a little small. However, it is a beautiful boat
that will serve my needs. I am thinking of purchasing it from Cal's RV
in Las Vegas.

If anyone has any comments on this boat then I would appreciate the
feedback.

Thanks,

rob

Hi Robert,
I just traded my 03 223 Sunesta for a 256 SSX last week. Had her out on the water 2 full days so far. All I can say is that this boat is GREAT. Mine has the Volvo 8.1 Gi DP and the speed is above my expectations. Got it up to 62 on the test drive with 4 people on board and 3/4 fuel in salt water. In fresh water it hits 57 with a load of people fuel and water and toys on board. The ride and handling of this boat is first rate. So far I don't have any complaints at all. I loved my Sunesta but this is a huge step up in everyway. I can't tell you how many comments I got on land and in the water on this boat. BTW, defineatly spring for the Vacuflush head over the porta-potti, you won't regret it. If you want any more info PM me.
