Hi everyone in the forum  just took delivery of an 05 Prestancia and am having a few teething problems. I am a litttle concerned as the 2 year warranty runs out at the end of this month. I took delivery after it had the 100 hour service and the Engineers said everything was perfect. I have used the boat twice now and have had the same problem with the extended seat moving while underway nearly lost the wife. the pressure pump trip switch just started tripping this weekend and will not set, and the portside engine bay  fills up with Salt water. I hope these are all teething problems. The portside Engine bay is my main concern. I hope it is just a loose pipe from when they did the 100 hour service last month.. One more thing I used the windlass anchor when we stopped for a spot of Fishing.  Could not get the Anchor back up. I thought the Windlass motor was ceased..  While looking around at the motor i noticed a thin black wire cut in half.  Twisted it back together reset the trip switch in the engine bay. hay presto works. What a relief. So if you have the quick windlass stick your hand under and make sure that the little black wire is well away from the chain.

We had similar problem with the seat on our 04 Prestancia....we had the latch replaced twice - didnt work, kept sliding out.  Finally we had two pegs installed the drill through the plastic overlap thingy into the fixed portion of the seat.  If you want i can try and post a picture.

So far i still i have my wife and kids.

Thanks for the feed back, will check the sea water intake tomorrow, and will spray everything that the water level has reached. If that fails will lift it out and let the engineers sort the problem.. I need the Starboard side gear cable changing anyway because it has become very stiff.  Note the comments on the Seat. Doral told me to lubricate it. Cant see how that will work but will give it a try. If Rich could send me those pics I would it would be mutch appreciated.
