Does anyone have an issue of your boat leaning over really hard? I have a 1979 255 Castaway and I am constantly on the trim tabs when ever the boat is on anything close to on plane. I had a sales person tell me that the formula boats were prone for that really bad. I just think maybe water is shifting around and causing it. Any help please?

It has done it from the day I got it about 15 yrs ago. It has seemed to get worse though. Someone told me that the gimbal ring needs to be replaced. I just think that I have water in it somewhere, I hear that it is common on older boats. Since most of the compartments in the hull are sealed with no access, it looks really hard to tell if it is water.
