really like the color. what kind of performance numbers do you get??

fuel usage, cruise speed, top end, so forth so on??

did you catch any of the pics of my make-over on my 310 st tropez?? it's a couple threads down....in the same forum

hey also: you should start a new thread with your boat year, size etc.. under your name and put your pics over there too.

starting to get a few of us on here...

Hey Moosin, welcome to the forum. Great looking boat, I like the teal colour scheme. Is the colour scheme original? I thought Thompson came out with the teal later in the early 90's.

Very interested in more photos, especially of the interior. Our boat was customized somewhat when we got it and I would like to see what the 300 had in the salon originally - especially in a well cared for boat like yours.

For perfomance, we have twin 350 ci Mercruisers, 260 hp, with Alpha 1 legs. With SS props, we run 28 - 30 mph at 3000 rpm, 10 - 12 gph combined. Top end is about 42 mph. Lately we have found the boat runs better through the water at 3200 rpm, 32 mph, but uses 14 - 16 gph.

Again, welcome to the forum. I look forward to sharing your boating and Thompson experiences.

Where abouts are you boating? We are out of Vancouver, BC.

TFH

Thanks, Color is original gelcoat. Striping was new this spring. Same power as yours with 14 x 17 aluminum props. Cruise is 30 at 3400. Top end is 43 on a good day at 4600. Don't have a flow meter but get approximately 1.2 MPG cruise. I noticed the difference in your interior. I'll try to get some pics up in a new thread soon. I'm in upstate NY and boat out of Sodus Bay off Lake Ontario.

They're up

TFH, noticed your transom isn't "notched" where the ladder comes up. Was that original or was it filled in for some reason. This pic will show what I'm talking about

Greetings everyone on the Thompson Forum. Hope you all are enjoying a break and a safe and Merry Christmas. On the west coast, we have prepped for the winter and starting to do our annual / seasonal maintenance for next spring. We are installing a new bimini top, new fridge, rewiring the batteries and charger, looking to install a flatscreen TV, and possibly a new radar. More to come in future posts in the spring.

Again, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Looking forward to the stories and posts in the new year. Make sure you keep warm down south.

This forum doesn't seem to be very active which is a shame b/c you guys have some sweet boats! I looked at an '87 Daytona last night that I am thinking about buying. I am new to boating so I am pretty ignorant to what exactly to look for when inspecting a boat. This particular boat is a one owner very well maintained Thompson.

Any advice/help would be great! Thanks guys.
